It is the first weekend of spring, first day of October 2016, people got paid and all roads lead to the annual Spring Fiesta Festival at Wild Waters Complex in Boksburg, Ekurhuleni, Johannesburg, to watch the star-studded local and international musicians – including the legendary house music vocalist, Monique Bingham.
Bingham – who is expected to bless partygoers with her classic house anthems such as Take Me To My Love, Pap and Deep In The Bottom (of Africa) – is ready to entertain best house music supporters in the world, South Africans.
Speaking at the Spring Fiesta Media press conference held outside Marcia room Emperors Palace Convention Centre in Kempton Park on Wednesday evening, the excited singer said: “The crowds here [in South Africa] have knowledge [of music] and just the love of the music I have been putting out for the last 20 years”.
Dressed in the ravishing black dress and jacket, the American-born beauty – who was part of the panel press conference alongside the British DJ-producer Martin Atjazz as well as Metro FM radio broadcaster MoFlava and Live Amp presenter, Warras – gave a sneak preview sterling performance of what to expect later today.
The Spring Fiesta is one of the most tenable junctures that does not only bring music lovers together but play a major role in the economy sustenance of our country.
