South Africa’s No.1 hustler to hustle R1m for students

The Sbusiso Leope Education Foundation (S.L.E.F) 2017 empowerment programme is designed to promote youth propelling forward with their education specifically matriculates entering into tertiary education. In 2017 S.L.E.F has identified successful students who matriculated in Gauteng, Mpumalanga and KZN and plan to use its collective resources to pledge towards their futures.

The 2nd Annual S.L.E.F benefit concert will be held on Saturday, 4th March 2017 at Moriting Park in Tembisa with a healthy target of R1M in raised funds towards the bursaries for the students identified by S.L.E.F. The concert is expected to feature South African and continental music performers of the highest calibre.

“It’s an honor and a privilege to assist successful students to achieve their dreams. I have taken responsibility to play my part as an active citizen and together with a team of volunteers and associates at S.L.E.F this exercise helps us as individuals take our eyes off ourselves and put our money, talents and efforts on the future of Africa.

In 2017, I want to be bold and let it be public that with the support of my community and associates and of course God’s grace we can positively impact 10- 30 students by raising R500k – R1 Million to invest in their futures. I’m encouraging my friends, associates, business partners, and family, even people whom I don’t know personally, to pledge towards the education of the next generation,” said Leope.

“With my relationships in business, corporate, the music and entertainment and media industry, it is imperative that once a year I can leverage, partners, ask for support from the various radio stations, media houses, TV channels and journalists that are in my network and its all for a good cause.”
