Zola 7, the presenter of ‘Utatakho’ – a docu-reality series that focuses on resolving issues of paternity with the help of DNA testing – will no longer host the popular TV show.

After eight episodes, Zola 7, real name Bonginkosi Dlamini, 38, will be replaced by motivational speaker and experienced Nimrod Nkosi – who will start from Tuesday, 01 September.

The excited Nkosi, who is one of South Africa’s most recognisable faces in the industry, is thrilled to follow in Zola’s footsteps.

“It is an honour and a pleasure to be roped in by the channel and the production to be part of this programme, and have the baton passed onto me from one of this country’s most talented and multifaceted hosts, Zola 7. I will be bringing my unique brand of hosting talent to the show, as I continue with the vision and mandate, which is to give a platform to those in Mzansi who seek answers and closure,” he said.

Utatakho airs Tuesdays on Mzansi Magic (DStv channel 161) at 8pm.
