The second season of ANN7 South African of the Year (SATY) Awards is back – and DJ Sbu is in need of your vote.
Love him or loathe him, the self-proclaimed Master of Fosting and Billionaire in the Making is a man of many missions. This time, the 37-year-old entrepreneur and motivational speaker, born Sibusiso Leope – who has attracted significant publicity since he gave birth to MoFaya (the SA’s first 100% black owned energy drink) – is campaigning to be crowned ANN7 South African of the Year.
The awards ceremony, which will be broadcast live on ANN7 on 26 September, aims to focus on bringing viewers inspirational stories of notable South Africans who are making a positive difference in the country.
The annual event will hand out awards in the categories of Trendsetting celebrity of the Year, Campaign of the Year, Sportsperson of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year, Spirit of Humanity Award, the Young South African of the Year and the South African of the Year.
