Millionaire Cassper Nyovest fills up MTN endorsement deal

Hip hop star Cassper Nyovest recently revealed that his dream to fill up the Dome will cost him R4 million, but it seems the multi-award winning rapper has already recovered his loss elsewhere.

Nyovest, 24, whose debut Tsholofelo album earned him 24 awards, was in a cheerful mood when he took to Twitter to announced what he calls ‘ the biggest endorsement deal in South African Music history’.

According to Hype Magazine, the deal will in part involve Cassper becoming the face of the brand across the continent. The monetary details of the deal were not specified but some have tweeted their support for the “R10 million” deal.

The deal was signed in the presence of DJ, music producer and businessman Oskido, whose Kalawa record company helped to manage the distribution of Cassper’s first album.

“The partnership with MTN is a natural progression in my career. I’ve always sought to associate myself and the Cassper Nyovest brand with organisations and initiatives that unashamedly champion the development of music. I have found a home at MTN and I wish to make this partnership worthwhile for MTN customers,” Nyovest said in a statement.
