It’s been months since the hype of the most anticipated festival of the year in South Africa started – The Spring Fiesta music festival. Now the waiting is over, it is almost time to get down to music explosion and dance business.

This year’s ultimate spring celebration will be full of a star-studded line-up and it will take place at the Wild Waters Complex in Boksburg, Ekurhuleni on Saturday, 4th October 2014. For the past three years Soul Candi’s Spring Fiesta has seen great success, with the 2013 event catering to over 13,000 festival attendees.

On Wednesday evening, media were invited at the Spring Fiesta press conference, which was held at the Odeon Showbar at Emperors Palace in Kempton Park.

The MC for the evening was Metro FM DJ and SABC 1’s & 2’s judge DJ Spectacular, who introduced members of the organising committee and sponsors of the annual event.

Artists who were part of the panel include: The Layabouts, Portia Monique, Chappell, Lulo Cafe, DJ Naves, DJ Shimza, F.Eu & Ricardo Da Costa (also the festival founder & director)

Zano, The Layabouts and Portia Monique entertained the guests with their special performances – and this was the taste of what should be expected on Saturday.

Spring Fiesta 2014 will host over 60 local and international DJs across 6 diversified stages.
